What can be done if legacy PLC project files are missing?
Available documentation, hardware, signals and the required functions are reviewed first. This provides a basis for a testable modernisation scope and a list of open technical points. Recovery of a complete original project is not promised as a standard outcome.
How does a CODESYS migration differ from adding data integration?
Migration transfers or reimplements control software for a new system generation. Data integration makes selected plant values available to other systems. Both tasks may occur in one project, but they have separate interfaces and checks.
